OP, since coming from out-of-town, what did you expect to fix there if you did catch something? Doubtful dealer will shoe you in for panel alignment or paint problems. Have your friend inspect the car for you as if it where his/hers and get back to you.
No need to waste money on cheap...
^And more than likely, you would not get it. It's easier for the dealer to repair it under their roof and sell it off as new. Imports coming over with shipping damage get repainted at the port or at receiving dealer and sold just like any other new vehicle. Nothing to prevent the dealer from...
As mentioned, still at $2k in SoCal. My feeling is I don't care. Stock around here is limited to EBs and strange color combos. Besides, with all that's posted about mid-to-late '18s blowing up, to hell with that worry.
Looked at the M14 a few years back for my Porsche and found out the offset on these stops at +24. That wouldn't work at all on a non-wide body S550. Granted, I was looking at 18s at the time. Nice wheel but way too much lip.
^ I'll agree that the "murdered" look has been played out (I did that in the 80s!) and I hate, with a passion, window tint.
You like the look now of all-purple. How will you feel later? Can you resell those?? How about you go only so far as a purple lip on a black basket?
Yes, I did.
I think if it was down to a definitive part that was failing, going aftermarket might be a better option than sticking with a Ford-supplied part.
^And, yes, I know you don't like sport steering, I saw your first post.
I was referring to the drive mode NORMAL. The current discussion is saving the steering mode to MyMode and the fact that MyMode is not a default setting forces one to re-select MyMode along with a saved steering mode.
