I usually do during the summer, fall, spring time. I haven't tried going during winter. Hope to meet some of you guys out there someday. Maybe when we get a nice patch of good weather again , I'd try to make it out there.
Those numbers are good and consistent with each other, your plugs look good and i think your engine is heathy. I think you should buy the car and negotiate on the price. If you look around you'll find that used ecoboost goes for around that much. One great thing about buying your lease is that...
Thanks. Yeah you can tell them exactly how you want it and it doesn't cost extra. I don't think it would fit the SVE steering wheel, they make this to fit exactly the oem steering wheel.
I ordered a custom design from the same vendor and had just finished installing it. It took me many hours just trying to figure out and make sure that it is positioned correctly. But once I learned the best way then it went a lot faster. Definitely not a few hour job if you want it to look...
Yeah sort of. Anything long and sturdy that fits into the subframe bushing bolt hole to give you leverage to move the rubber bushing for more space to slip in the support pieces.
A couple of noticeable benefits to me by installing the trans mount insert and shifter base bushing are, it eliminated the vry noticeable shifter movement while moving from a stop and the random clunk as soon as you shift. It did add a bit of nvh, but compared to my previous cars (evo,gt,miata)...
I had the clunking since new even before I put on a trans bushing insert. The driveline lash ,well to much of it creates the clunk. I have learned to drive differently than my other manual trans cars to avoid clunking.
Here what i learned for the manual trans cars. You have to keep the driveline...
Learned a trick during my install. Grab 2, 12 inch 3/8 drive extensions and connect it together . Insert it in the subframe bushing hole and pry away while inserting the 2 pieces, some lube also helps. Took me less than 10 mins to install after i figure it out.
Yeah, I could imagine. I wasn't going to even try doing the accelerator pedal while installed, and plus I also replaced my pedal height washer stack up with the actual spacers at the same time anyway.
^ this. But I do monitor the cylinder head temp before i shut down after i have been sitting in a stop and go traffic. If the temp is 215 + deg when I pull into my garage, I wait for the fans to kick in and that brings the temps down quickly to 185 ish then shut down. All this happens within 1...
