Getting out of the gate in the 6 speed SP can be a tussle; where as with the 8-speed you do a low rev launch and from there simply keep it floored. Pretty big 1/4 mile difference in manual vs auto in the SP or SRT models. It was the same though with the dual clutch Golf R and 6 speed manual...
