  1. Richard Hammond in S550 Mustang GT

I also own a top spec 2014 Mazda 6 GT, and while its interior is pretty good (for its price point), I do not necessarily feel it's better than my Mustang premium 401a with premiere interior upgrade. If anything, I think Ford uses better quality interior materials. Mazda however is very good...
  2. Continental Extreme Contact DW , feedback from guys running them

Hi MustangCollector, The tirerack lists country of origin for each tire size under "specs" for all their tires. According to their site, it's Portugal, Slovakia, and United States for GT PP sizes.
  3. Nitto NT555 G2

Your car and new wheels and tires look awesome! Do the much wider tires introduce more tramlining? Any balancing or road force issues with those new Nitto tires? Thanks
  4. Quick review on my roush axle back

clevernickname Thank you for the review with your roush axle backs Can anyone comment on highway cruising volumes? I do mostly highway driving with my PP GT, primarily between 60 to 80mph's. Is highway cruising still comfortable with this exhaust, or is it constantly shouting at you? Thanks!
  5. Mileage on Rear Potenzas Suck?

You and me the same! Flooring it and spinning up the tires is a lot of fun, and I do it more or less at every safe opportunity. I believe I'm at 7/32"s with only ~2000miles.
  6. Honda beats a 5.0?

I own a 2004 Accord V6 6speed manual Accord 2 door as a winter vehicle. With all seasons or snow tires, i'm quite certain my Honda Accord is quicker 0-60 than my 16 Mustang GT PP with its oem tires in the winter. My Mustang gets very little traction below 50 degrees. The Accord is no...
  7. Lethal Performance NEW PRODUCT: ISC Suspension S550 Coil Over Kits

Do the rears offer adjustable height and dampening too?
  8. Any suggestions for a all season tire?

For everyone with all season tires on their GT PP's, how does the steering response compare? I love how direct and quick the response is with the oem summer tires, and am not sure I'd want to compromise that. In fact I wouldn't mind a tire with even quicker response. From my experience...
  9. 93 octane to 87

I use 87 octane exclusively...87 octane is $0.70 less per gallon vs. 93 octane, and my butt dyno cannot tell the difference. Besides, my Mustang is extremely traction limited with this cold new England weather with 87 octane gas when I floor it. I spin tires hard in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
  10. What'll eat the GT for breakfast?

Any car with all-season tires will beat my Mustang GT PP in this cold weather.
  11. These cars are rigid!

Brad2016 Do the doors, hood, and trunk open and shut smoothly with the car in that position?
  12. Continental DWS 06

I agree, i've had my car accidentally far more sideways than i would have liked from those cold Pirellis.
  13. Continental DWS 06

For those with all seasons...can the tires handle full throttle in 1st and 2nd gear? My oem PP tires are completely useless in 1st gear with these cold temps.
  14. Think they'll release a rear brembo upgrade?

The same reason why no one wants rear drum brakes. A fixed 4 piston rear caliper looks the business. A single sliding rear caliper screams Honda Civic...bargin basement, and a cost cut corner... I would have gladly paid a couple hundred on top of my bottem line to have a more solid rear...
  15. Anyone here try the Roush Single Adj coilovers or the KW versions

Thanks for the reviews guys. So it sounds like we definetly need camber plates for these coil overs. Can you give any feed back for performance and ride quality vs lowering springs, and oem springs? I find the oem PP suspension very comfortable as is, I wouldnt want to ruin that aspect of my...
  16. Velgen Wheel Pics/Thread

The VMB9 in gunmetal look very nice! Are they hub centric for our S550 application? If they require hub rings, does anyone experience vibration or shimmy issues at highway speeds? Thanks
  17. Drove a '16 GT, was not very fast

The 2015 GT PP i test drove felt slow too. It couldnt even spin tires from a roll in 1st gear. My 2016 feels much stronger, and is certainly traction limited.
  18. MRR Design wheels Authorized dealer: M600 M350 FS01 FS02 | Mustang S550 fitments

Roman, your ride looks really good with those new wheels!
  19. What's the 5.0's redline?

True, they are all completely different. But, the redline is the maximum safe operational engine rpm, as determined by FoMoCo. For Ford to make it unclear on the tach is ridiculous. I have no interest banging the rev limiter on my 5.0. In my teenage years, i've blown the headgasket on a...
  20. What's the 5.0's redline?

Thanks to everyone who has responded. Why did Ford feel the need to make a simple tachometer redline tremendously confusing? At what rpm do the automatic GT's shift when floored?
