I have a buddy that has a Jag F type R and he swears by F11 Top Coat and PPF on the most venerable areas. He lives in AZ and foams the car then applies F11 and car looks great all the time except behind the wheels where it gets sand blasted form the insane about of sand that is on the roads...

With ceramic coating lets say you get a surface scratch not all the way to the paint, can it just be buffed / polished then new coat of ceramic or does the ceramic need to be chemically removed first?
