Custom fabrication of one would be my best opinion. I was just having this discussion with a good friend and underwriter for SCT tuning.. He recommended a custom fabricated one. That way your fabricator can design it as large as it can possibly be. More coolant=more cooling and lower inlet air...
Yeah man! So many good power adders out there now. It all depends on what your overall use is going to be. Are you looking for huge gains and deep 1/4 mile numbers? Or a high powered street car just out to have fun and be safe?
I traded in my 2009 C63 AMG Mercedes 507hp on my Roush supercharged GT! It doesn't match up in technology and luxury. But it's significantly faster, alot more fun to drive, and i fear breaking things much less. LOL
I also experience water in the same area... Haven't really been concerned about it because i keep the trunk lining stripped out all the time so its just metal back there. But to second your experience. I have it in the same areas.
So excited for this event! Extra sticky track prep, unlimited passes, Hellcat's and corvettes to kill all day! What could be better?!

I'm not speaking of my particular car when I reference the warranty Ford/Roush Performace dealerships honor with phase 1 owners. I'm just generally speaking for all the other owners that don't use and abuse the vehicle like i do. Obviously I'm not concerned with wear and tear personally. Plus...
The 30amp that the tip of the key is touching! It was recommended by a local tuner at the strip that day! I'll try anything to cut a few extra tenths! Lol! And hell, it worked!! I'm sure an outside tune could remove a lot of the nannies, but I didn't want an outside tune to possibly void...
Your continuous product bashing shows immaturity and envy.. I really don't want to entertain your comments anymore. They are all very bias and bias remarks are not worth the post they are written on. Like i said before, I came here to celebrate s550 owners successes, regardless of brands used...
I'm actually very surprised to find out that you are the owner of Whipple.. Based on the way you carry yourself on here I would not think you were a successful professional. You slander, lie, and negative sell other brands in public forums? I would be ashamed to be affiliated with your product...
I can quote a thread on here. A member had issues with his phase 1 install. Car just wasn't running right. His local Ford/Roush Performance dealership couldn't figure it out either working over the phone with Roush.
Roush actually paid to ship this gentlemans car from FL to MI to dyno tune it...
Congrats!! You're gonna love it!!
No issue here either. Inlet air temps get a little high when drag racing. I do cool downs between runs just to ensure I'm not making passes on a heat soaked motor. But I have no complaints.. Drove and drip this car a tremendous amount in 2015. Not a single...
This sure has gotten off the original topic the thread was posted about... The OP asked if SC cars can be daily driven. Some members shared an opinion why they chose their setup as a daily driver... All this banter about who does what warranty and whatnot seems to be turning into a brand battle...
