I prowl the Short Pump/West End area. If I see another S550, I do try and wave. Probably the only Oxford with PP rims and red lugs in the area too.
First Mustang. Never even gave them a second glance till the S550 came out. I always felt the build quality was cheap. Sat behind the wheel of a 50th Anniversary and started to enjoy it. Every day of driving it since, I fall more in love with it.
Not my first American vehicle though. Still...
My brother flew in for the holidays and rented a car for the final leg. It was a nasty gross day out, but I had to take up the opportunity to snap some back to back pics. My GT vs the baseline V6. :headbang:
I NEVER leave the firearm unattended in the vehicle. With that said, yes the bottom of the grip is more visible, however I usually am wearing enough clothes to cover it up when driving. Worst case, I can quickly switch from vic holster to the crossbreed at my 4' o'clock with minimal...
Finally got around to getting the picture uploaded.
The holster was rubbing on the center console a little too much. Got some stick on felt from the craft store and cut one section to size. Been there at least a month and a half, and even in the cold, the felt stays put. No more rubbing or...
My passenger side fog has had moisture in it since day one. Dealer "resealed" it, but they are going to replace the whole assembly on the first service interval.
So I have had my 50th GT for almost a month now, and really my main complaint with the car is the chrome interior trim on sunny days. How are more of yall not getting blinded?!?!?
With that said, I have been looking for other options. Asked my dealership to look and see if there is a basic...
I will say that unless you know what it is, the average person will not look twice at the holster sitting there. Had two different shops take a look at the interior today, and neither made even the slightest hint at it.
Most of those scratches are from having the 26 resting between the bolster...
So I had a chance to test some ideas out with the weather cooperating for a day. I happened to have a spare, generic Glock 17 kydex holster laying around. It's a clip on, IWB holster, so I simply unscrewed the belt clip, and had a nice, bare holster to work with. Grabbed a few trusty, 50lb break...
I daily carry a Glock 26. Sits in a IWB holster normally, but is slightly uncomfortable while driving. I usually just wedge it between the seat bolster and the center console, by the seat belt. Still trying to figure out place to mount/wedge a holster though. Interested to see how others carry.
My dealer also said 87 was fine. You won't harm the engine by running higher octane fuel, just your wallet.

Hey fellas. Just checking in here. I picked up my first sole-financed car, and finally settled on this beautiful work. Worked with my dealer for about two weeks to hunt this down, equipped with:
~ Performance Pack
~ Adaptive Cruise
~ Voice Nav
~ 50th Anniversary
And finally, the pic, as...
