if you go 3.625, you'll need a bap. engineermike was seeing some lift pressure drop in colder weather on that size pulley.
so stay above that on the pulley size and you should have some headroom.
Idk if thereās data on mustangs but on mazdaspeeds gutting the cat caused a lot of turbulence. The best fix was to weld a straight pipe through the cat area if you wanted to keep it looking stock.
Just treat the gas pedal like thereās an egg between your foot and the pedal that you
1. Donāt want to crack
2. Donāt want to fall
and you likely wonāt have a problem
Tc off will let it spin but not step sideways. Advance trac off letās it step out but it CAN still intervene
I'm in a similar situation. Do you have the fuel system for E85? I do not and I can't really get it so I've decided to get a race gas tune. It's somewhat available locally.
The expense is minimal since I don't need to do anything to the fuel system, or the pulley really. Just a touch up tune.
My '19 P1X made pretty much identical numbers, also pbd remote dyno tune.. No bap or injectors.
I'm not convinced there's a lot of headroom left in the setup. Unfortunately I can't log PI IPW so I have no idea the IDC. My lift pump pressure doesn't drop at all.
I'm upgrading to a DW400 in tank...
I have a remote dyno PBD tune. I asked for a safe tune I can beat on since I'm on 91, it appears I did get that. The ignition timing is conservative as expected but cam angles don't look optimized. The tune was a remote dyno tune on the U cal. They sent a base map, shop put a few miles on the...
I don't have experience with the GT500 but you've never driven a DCT car, I highly recommend trying one. The shifts have a mechanical feeling to them. It feels like a flat foot shift in a manual without the wear and tear/risk of mis shifts... and way faster.... The feeling of perfect crip quick...
I looked into this (and transmissions) before going forced induction to get a worst case idea.
The fact I can get a gen 3 long block for $6k is mighty tempting and probably the route I'd go. I don't think I'd benefit much from a built short block unless lowering compression would really allow...
In a bit of a dilemma here. Stock wheels, P1X, 6mt, 600 whp.
I do a lot of grand touring with the car (just got back from a 1200 mile trip) on highway and twisties, and might do an HPDE this year (just going for fun, not going to be pushing the car to the limit). So I'm leaning away from...
Try prying the adapter apart a little bit with 2 pairs of pliers or vice grips or a pry bar inside. Then get half of it on the pipe, use some wd40 or something, and hit it with a mallet. It should slide on.
It's a very very tight fit.
I had cordes performance do the install, they partner with palm beach for the tunes. The install was flawless. They work on mclarens, high end corvettes, etc and my car was treated no different. Joe the owner was very fair on the labor and clearly explained all the options I had. 10/10 would...
I'm going to go with Wengerd when I go return style fuel system - Daryl helped me figure out which route I should go and what I could expect in the end.
It's nice to have a guy you can get a hold of in a timely manner and actually helps you along.
I also really like the idea of hp RTD logging...
