I found my "perfect" setup with 25mm spacers in the front and 20mm spacers in the back on 20 inch foundry wheels. 25mm in the back stood out a bit too far, 20mm is perfect.
I have had the clunk sound, too but it has almost disappeared. The other day I went home in Sport+ mode for about 15-20 minutes, letting the transmission shift earlier than what my normal driving would be. And there was the clunk sound again when I pulled into the garage.
Can anyone confirm...
Happened to me when I had the key fob in my pocket and my leg must have pressed the lock button while I was inside. When I turned the car on, it honked.
When I recreated it a day later, same thing. So sit in your car, lock it with the keyfob and then start it. You should get honked at ;)
Congrats! It works best when you put both windows up, too. That way you "cocoon" yourself and keep out as much wind as possible.
As for the bright blue sticker, I took that off after leaving the car in the sun for a while. I like the clean look without the sticker on it better.
Not that I have seen any videos that show that, but I did it myself and it is one of the easiest parts. Just one screw holding it once you have all the other parts taken off. Just take your time, took me about 2 hours from start to finish.
I have the same clunk as described in this thread. GT Auto with 3.55 gears. I hope they bring out the TSB soon, I don't want to end up in a Fiesta for weeks...
