I'm trying to decide if it's necessary to buy the kit or piece the kit out and save a couple hundred. If I can just get the fittings my life would be a little easier.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in the city. It was nice, but if I remember correctly the prices are steep in SLC. Just remember the track is about 30 min away from downtown so plan accordingly.
Pretty sweet setup. Can't imagine being about to justify the price as many others have said. I've felt the stock brakes in action when a professional pushed the car to the limit and they don't fade at all, even at 100 degree track temp. I can't imagine these performing that much better but if...
If it's the same one I have, all they did was weld the front hangers on instead of using bolts. Everything else is the same. Still contacted the transmission upon installation. Had to use spacers to offset the rear so it wouldn't contact anymore. Check fitment when installing, simple fix.
Best I was offered for my car was 50.5K on trade. (Same area as you). If you sell it privately for 55K you make $4500 over trade. If you trade it in, you don't pay tax on 50.5K you already paid. Taxes saved is about $4040 depending... IMO I would just take the parts off, sell those and make...
That's something you don't have to worry about, while tech owners do. That fact alone warrants some kind of action doesn't it? Their are countless cars on the road that can handle 100 + degree days without issue.
