Have you thought about getting a bottle jack and lug wrench? Do it at home plus you can keep 1 wheel in the trunk as spare.

I was under the same impression as you, it's part of a kit and you need to buy the kit. It makes sense, then I found this and thought I wonder if it's the same part. Just started wondering if you bought pieces individually would you save anything, but then there's the shop fee for miscellaneous...
I understand what this recall is about, but it's the only one I know of. Another poster made a comment about being tired of "issues" and "recalls". I just wasn't aware of any issues or recalls related to the EB thus far(except for this one that hasn't been officially announced yet)
