  1. Whipple Air Filter Inlet - Open or Enclosed?

That's all I needed to hear! Calling in a few to place the order. Thanks!
  2. Whipple Air Filter Inlet - Open or Enclosed?

I'm assuming it adapts to the stock snorkel piece still located in the grill and no other parts from the stock air box are required. Let's actually say, I'm hoping, because I no longer have the stock air box. When looking into using the Velossa I believe pieces of the stock air box were needed...
  3. Whipple Air Filter Inlet - Open or Enclosed?

Definitely interested! I was looking into the Velossa and trying to adapt it to the enclosed airbox. Hoping this will be much easier and a better fit.
  4. 2018 Ford Mustang Interest Poll

Wouldn't even think about trading my '16. Just got it all setup the way I wanted it and only have 12k miles on it. Going to wait and see what '20 has to bring...
  5. Trouble displaying IAT2 on SCT X4 - PBD Tune

So I recently switched from the Whipple tune to PBD tune, installed the provided IAT2 sensor and cable, and I'm currently in the process of data logging for updates. I was tinkering with the X4 and created my own config file so I could display specific data onscreen, one of the data points being...
  6. How long do you plan on keeping your Mustang for?

Just hit the 2 year mark with my car and it only has 12k miles on it - summer drives in nice weather only. At this rate I will keep this car for a long time. It's just to much fun to drive, puts a smile on my face every time I take it out.
  7. Thoughts on switching from whipple tune to remote tune

I wouldn't say there is no reason to change. I just switched to a PBD custom tune and there was a big improvement in drivability and performance when compared to the canned Whipple tune. Even though I had the latest Whipple tune the car didn't pull as hard as it does now, especially at the lower...
  8. Purchase of FRPP Touring Catback

Reach out to Beefcake or Hypermotive. They always have great prices.
  9. looking for good Ford dealer in hudson Valley NY

Rhinebeck Ford has been really good based on my experiences. Bought my car there and had it serviced a couple of time before I got the blower.
  10. What Clutch Are People with MT82 & Boosted

Yeah, I don't think an RXT breaks the MT82 all the time as he said but a lot of people do run the RST instead on the stock tranny.
  11. Hudson Valley: NY Area

Let me know if you go, I live about 15 minutes away from there and have been thinking about going.
  12. Any recommended shops to work on our mustangs in Philly/South Jersey area?

  13. Anyone sling a belt on whipple?

Haven't busted a belt yet (knocking on wood) but I do have a spare in the trunk with tools to replace if necessary. I did have belt chirp issues shortly after the SC install and I thought it would be best to have a spare just in case...
  14. Coolant for Whipple

IDK, dropping almost 200HP from 1st pull to 3rd pull seems like a huge loss to solely blame on heat soak from coolant type and/or mixture. I know you said nothing else changed but maybe something else was going on, issue with IC pump, air bubble in the system???
  15. Corsa sport catback

^^^^ What he said. I also got the best deal on my Corsa Sport from Beefcake.
  16. Whipple Intercooler Pump won't turn off !!

My intercooler pump relay was DOA upon install and needed to be replaced. Not out of the realm of possibilities that your relay failed in the closed position or the relay contacts welded together and are keeping the pump on all the time. Once you turn off the car I would think the tune is no...
  17. you guys wanna see a dead body

I like what Dodge is doing with the Demon. They knew dealers would go crazy with the markup and made changes to try and minimize the gouging... "Dealers who plan to mark the Demon up will end up at the back of the line. Demons that are sold at or below the MSRP of $84,995 will receive...
