I'm assuming it adapts to the stock snorkel piece still located in the grill and no other parts from the stock air box are required. Let's actually say, I'm hoping, because I no longer have the stock air box. When looking into using the Velossa I believe pieces of the stock air box were needed...
Wouldn't even think about trading my '16. Just got it all setup the way I wanted it and only have 12k miles on it. Going to wait and see what '20 has to bring...
So I recently switched from the Whipple tune to PBD tune, installed the provided IAT2 sensor and cable, and I'm currently in the process of data logging for updates. I was tinkering with the X4 and created my own config file so I could display specific data onscreen, one of the data points being...
Just hit the 2 year mark with my car and it only has 12k miles on it - summer drives in nice weather only. At this rate I will keep this car for a long time. It's just to much fun to drive, puts a smile on my face every time I take it out.
I wouldn't say there is no reason to change. I just switched to a PBD custom tune and there was a big improvement in drivability and performance when compared to the canned Whipple tune. Even though I had the latest Whipple tune the car didn't pull as hard as it does now, especially at the lower...
Haven't busted a belt yet (knocking on wood) but I do have a spare in the trunk with tools to replace if necessary. I did have belt chirp issues shortly after the SC install and I thought it would be best to have a spare just in case...
IDK, dropping almost 200HP from 1st pull to 3rd pull seems like a huge loss to solely blame on heat soak from coolant type and/or mixture. I know you said nothing else changed but maybe something else was going on, issue with IC pump, air bubble in the system???
My intercooler pump relay was DOA upon install and needed to be replaced. Not out of the realm of possibilities that your relay failed in the closed position or the relay contacts welded together and are keeping the pump on all the time. Once you turn off the car I would think the tune is no...
I like what Dodge is doing with the Demon. They knew dealers would go crazy with the markup and made changes to try and minimize the gouging...
"Dealers who plan to mark the Demon up will end up at the back of the line. Demons that are sold at or below the MSRP of $84,995 will receive...
I uploaded my sig picture direct from my computer and didn't have to go through Photobucket or other pic hosting site. Just select option 2 when you are in Edit Signature.
Also, make sure you check the size of the image since there is a size limit.
