I would think that once rolling the taller tire would let you hit a high mph before running out of rpm
Does it spin on the hoosier? On a stick car I always preferred a bias ply but thats a different conversation.
A taller tire is like dropping down a ratio. I dig race more then roll and my mustang is an a10. Stock with 26" radial I went 11.60 at 119.
On my 6 speed camaro I run a 26" with a 4.10...
Car puts down decent power and its cold out, all seasons don't make them winter/ice tires. All the suspension in the world isn't going to fix a tire issue.
