  5. Resale value....ouch

I've also been '18 shopping. My car is a base A6 '16 car. I paid ~29k OTD 18 months ago. The car currently has around 6k miles. I was offered 25.5 for trade on a 31k A10 '18. I thought that was a fair offer. After calculating sales tax savings, it still brings me to an OOP spend of ~6k to...
  6. 2016 + whipple or 2018 39995 deal?

i'm leaning in this direction. You have the TVS? What dont you like about it?
  7. 2016 + whipple or 2018 39995 deal?

"If you buy an asset and finance the purchase with a loan tied to that asset, the relationship between the asset's value and the loan balance defines your equity position. If the value of the asset is greater than the balance of the loan, you have positive equity. If the loan amount is greater...
  8. 2016 + whipple or 2018 39995 deal?

not sure what the lol is..but the car will be paid off this year. I call that positive equity. I'd lose around 2K on a trade (cost for driving it for a year...i suppose) The a10 car would be another $1595 so we are really talking ~42k for a comparable '18. '16 A6 with blower for 37 or...
  9. 2016 + whipple or 2018 39995 deal?

I bought a 2016 A6 leftover last year cheap (~29k otd). I bought it with the intent of forced induction. I figure i can get a whipple gen3 installed for around 8k. That gives me around 700 RWHP for around 37k. Counter that with the recent 39995 deals re: Roush and/or Whipple for a new 2018...
  10. 2018 Mustang GT's with dealer installed Roush Supercharger starting at $39,995!

so whats the best way to get this process rolling? I've got a 2016 gt a6 i'd like to trade but i'm concerned with taking a bath on it. I've already gotten a trade offer that is not what i was hoping for. Maybe i will thru a whiplle on it and call it done.

  14. WHAT DID YOU PAY!!!

exactly... I'm not going to play around. Getting an h-pipe and a blower with tune. Done. Hope to have around 600 rwhp and still be under 35k. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif
  15. WHAT DID YOU PAY!!!

leftover 2016 late 2016 I bought a new '16 auto with 18" foundrys for 26895. Sticker was 34.6. OTD it was a little over 29. My buy was one of the cheapest I've seen for a new GT.
  16. any differences in supercharger kits from SN-197 and S550?

I've been reviewing kits (primarily Whipple and Paxton) and cannot see any differences between the kits. I also see the SN kits are alot cheaper.
  17. Shopping for New GT Now. Help with price expectations

2016 base auto with 18" foundrys scored a new 2016 auto with 18" foundrys for 29300 OTD. MSRP 34645. Negotiated to 26895. Almost 8k off sticker. If you look there are still many 2016's out there...especially in the southern area of the USA.
  18. 2016 gt base with auto...starting mod list...help me spend my money!

Thanx for all the input guys. I actually have another car so i don't have to drive the mustang in the winter. Honestly, i haven't even driven the car yet. I bought it sight unseen. I'm not sure how I will judge the power... we just got 2 feet of snow here in Syracuse so it may be while...
