  1. Ford Australia starting to contradict themselves

The title of this thread always makes me chuckle a little bit when I see it.
  2. 2017 GT, what's the lump?

Not a fan of that lump thing. Spoils the lines of the fastback. Looks like I'm going to be stuck with it, and I doubt I'll even benefit from it as I'm guessing I won't be using digital radio or using my car as a telephone (or however you describe it, the Bluetooth thing). Not really into that...
  3. A Quick Review and Thoughts

By the way, I have a 2012 XR6T and I agree that the throttle seems more responsive than the Mustang GT (only driven one twice), even though I don't think it's the best either. See the discussion elsewhere about installing a PedalMax gadget to improve the throttle response. It's something I'll be...
  4. Wonky glovebox

    Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. About bloody time .
  5. A Quick Review and Thoughts

Silly question but are V8s P-plate-able in WA? I am assuming that's what the P is inside the windscreen. Racial profiling of car ownership is ridiculous. A new Mustang means people of all types will be buying this given Australia's changing demographics. Happy driving!
  6. Mustangs for sale

Probably a camera issue but all the blues look to be different shades, and it makes the background colour like dark navy instead of black. Luckily it's all "colour coded".
  7. Differences between OZ vs U.S. spec PP GT

Agree. Would have paid extra for some things. Why no options? I would probably want to try the Recaros though as shoulders/thighs are pretty wide these days. Torsen diff is a great bit of kit. Have seen a video explaining how it works. Would have paid more. Would have paid more for softer...
  8. Differences between OZ vs U.S. spec PP GT

Probably would need speedo recalibrated as a guess. Maybe some other things? Aside from that, probably yes.
  9. Mustangs for sale

Each to their own, but to me, that's pretty hideous.
  10. New stang joining and AUS EU tail light sequencer mod

Yep, did so earlier. We just get the really external 'visible' parts such as the 19" wheels and Brembos. Thinks the Recaros are optional on US PP, but don't hold me to that. Another difference (excuse me if you did mention it) is that we get the faux stitching on the dash. I believe the US PP...
  11. Parking sensors - MY2017 Mustang

This is a supplement to what you have Anne, not a replacement. This just protects the underneath bits from the curb. Your sensors protect the sides and front of the bumper. You'd want both ideally, though all the beeps might get confusing!
  12. New stang joining and AUS EU tail light sequencer mod

When you think about, not getting the Torsen is the worst part as the car was billed as more or less the PP, but it's obviously not without that major component of the PP.
  13. QLD Number plate mounting

I agree Scott. I think a plate suitably creased resolves that issue nicely. Best to go slimline at front and regular at the back.
  14. New stang joining and AUS EU tail light sequencer mod

"1. No DTRL (you dunt call stupid fluorescent light bulbs DTRL, almost false adverstising)" I agree. I don't care how you spin it, these are not what any normal person calls DTRLs. Agree. It gets plenty close to false advertising. I think I've probably complained a bit too much about a lot of...
  15. New stang joining and AUS EU tail light sequencer mod

Well the original spirit was a pretty 2-door 6-cylinder Falcon that middle-class US fathers could buy for their daughters to drive to college. The outlaw bit came later. To be a real outlaw you need, of course, a '69 Charger :):
  16. New stang joining and AUS EU tail light sequencer mod

More importantly, voiding insurance. There goes $60K or so if you total it and insurance says they won't cough up because of your mod. If I'm not confident of being able to claim, why would I pay for insurance? Have owners who have fitted such a thing checked with their insurer to see whether...
  17. Oz S550 spotted thread

I don't think you have to be an enthusiast to realize that the bloody plate doesn't fit the bracket. It's just risible really. I've seen a couple like this on the Gold Coast, with Victory Ford markings on the outside of the bracket. I don't even understand why a dealer would allow a customer to...
  18. Oz S550 spotted thread

Yep, we're all different. What makes the world go 'round and all that. I remember what happened with my sister's very original old XL Futura, which had an RACQ shield/plaque think attached to the grille. My sister thought it was great, in addition to some old stickers on the windscreen. When...
  19. Oz S550 spotted thread

    That's disgusting conduct.
  20. Dashcams

Yep, calling clients "perps" is not exactly playing nice. What do they say to each other there, "I like Frostee for being the perp who recorded us with that dash cam in his ride".
