Wow, such debate:) Australia doesn’t have much better consumer laws than the US except a couple of minor exceptions. No lemon laws at all here actually. I haven’t read that article but this fine was issued AFTER Ford acknowledged their mistakes to the owners and offered the free servicing, 5400...
My 2020 (mfg 2019) Australian delivered RHD convertible does not have this release. It also doesn't have a hole for it in the liner. It is also not in the manual.
I can't remember, but only verts have that key/cable just behind the left rear seat? It so it looks like they just re-routed the...
The PP spoiler hits the convertible's antenna, that's the reasons they don't put it on there from the factory. If you want it you can put it on but you need a stubby antenna.
We get a year of free roadside assistance (for the first 7 years) if we do the maintenance at the dealer once a year. I do my own in between but let the dealer change the oil once a year. I also use an app to track all my stuff, Autosist and Fuelly.
Then it must be because you can't change the steering and exhaust settings when your're in sport plus and not because of of the module. Just to be clear on how I did this:
1) Make sure my mode settings are displayed on the dash
2) Change to Sport + mode with the dash toggle switch
3) Changed...
I worked this out. MyMode has to be set to sport plus for it to work. The other settings can be whatver you want for MyMode. Here's a demo of the auto switch. I did nothing but start the car.
Not sure. I got a notification in april 2020 about an update available for v1.12 but I can’t remember if I updated it. Then another notification for v1.13 in March this year and I definitely didn’t do that one.
We didn’t have a choice in Australia, we all get it. The main advantage for me was always the sub enclosure because I have a Convertible and no one makes one that fits in the same place as the factory. I decided my B&O is perfectly fine as is with just a better sub and an amp. It rocks!:)
My vert is an auto so I ran the power for my amp in the trunk through the clutch grommet. Connected it to the power tower where the fuses are (not direct to battery). Direct to battery would have current draw the BMS can't detect.
I can confirm that on the version of software mine is on, when I have the setting enabled and the car was on the MyMode setting last time I stopped it will start in normal then change to my mode shortly after that.
They released a new software version but I haven’t installed it yet.
i replaced a couple of the midbass fronts with some lower end Pioneers (new ones) I had lying around. I thought the factory speakers were better so I changed them back. Granted lower end stuff but all up for just the sub and amp only cost me $300 so replacing the rest would cost a ton. Also I...
Don’t need to change the DSP people. I’ve got car shattering bass with 500 watt amp that has high level inputs. Gain set to 1/4 so a 250 would be perfect.
I’m using the 500 watt version of this, you will not be disappointed:

I put a dayton 10" 4 ohm DVC in the factory sub enclosure with a Fosgate 500 watt mono amp, wired it for 2ohm. Output from the factory sub wires directly to the amps high level input. No disabling factory EQ or any other mods. I have to leave the gain on the amp at about a quarter that thing...
