I like CJPP but they really dropped the ball on their install video. When we took the chrome factory pony off it took very little effort to break the pins. Strange that Ford didn't use tape on these. The 5.0 badges have 2 pins that broke with very little effort also.

The 3M tape that I have used is from Lowes. It is a bit thicker than automotive tape but for the paddles it filled any gaps between the paddle and the extension. Just make sure that you only use it on the flat surface and not up the sides of the extension. I used three 10 inch strips of 3M to...

I have been thinking of purchasing a set of the extensions. They look good in my opinion. I will most likely go with black or silver. The red is a nice accent color though. Did you use the 3m tape to install them? Is the quality worth the 100 dollar price tag?
