Like so many others, my AC died on my 16 GT P. They pulled out the dash, replaced the evaporator and the AC seems to be working very well. (Still under warranty)
BUT, my SYNC 3 set up with Waze is completely screwed up.
When I plug the phone in, the screen on the car acknowledges my phone...
I dunno… I don't see anything there to get fired up about, so perhaps staying away from your newly legalized product before you post my be the thing?
OK... I installed it per instructions at the Owner.Ford.Com site. It told me it was completed and to remove device. But it didn't put that small file on the USB thumb drive that the ford site talked about using to report a successful update. The software version says 18025... but there...
Well, the way I found out was I downloaded the file, reset my radio, installed the file and everything was the same (including the wifi popup) and then I checked the build number, which was 17194.
So, yup.
If you updated the non-nav that file hasn't changed yet. I did the same thing and he indicated a few posts above that he hadn't changed it for non-nav as yet.
What was your build number?
After doing the update, mine is 17194. That's what I had before I updated. I understand that the updated build number is supposed to be 17276.
Just for one example, it's still asking me to hook up to wifi. The new build, we're told, is supposed to eliminate that.
That's where I d/l'd the file from. I've read posts from the 17th that indicated it had not been updated as yet.
I'd done a reset, and when the update was done, it came back to the prior build and not this build.
When I opened up the directory, the files were dated in September.
Is it possible to label when only one option is updated?
I presumed that the non-Nav update was also new. I spent 2 hours and repeated attempts to update my Non-Nav to this build... only to discover as I was rereading the end of the thread that apparently, only the Nav version was updated...
