I travel up Station St Fairfield from Oakleigh three days per week. Most of my mustang sightings have been around that area.

I noticed a wiring loom going beneath the under bonnet insulaton. Couldn't and didn't want to remove the insulation to see where it goes. Does anyone know what this is for?

Agree, minor annoyances, on top of several others:frusty:. However, mine does have global or one touch closing of windows. Not sure why yours shouldn't have that as well. No whining in any of my gears that I have noticed.

I have seen the ruby red coupe in Northcote and followed it to Kew. Haven't seen any others in Northcote / Fairfield area though.

Can you give us a description or photo(s) of the new amp rewiring and how and where did you place the sub and it's wiring? Thanks.

My car has these fins on both mirrors. It is race red but not sure if means anything. Could the fins be related to export models? Just a stab in the dark really as I can't see what they actually do on the mirror.

A lot of Victorian Mustangers appear to be very keen to meet up! I'm interested too but depends on where and when.

Couldn't see my car on that link, even though mine is race red it is a manual and the red mustang in the photos is an automatic. I think I'll chase up Dan as he said he had taken heaps of photos but hadn't downloaded them the last time I contacted him.

Also had my mustang Opticoated by Dan at Ultimate Car Detailing about 1 month ago (Kevr group deal). He did a fantastic job with the car looking amazing. I have been waiting for him to send me the photos so I can post them but still haven't received them. They are probably on his facebook page...

Spotted a DIB mustang traveling north along New St. Brighton (Melbourne) this morning at ~8.10 am. Custom number plate but didn't get a clear look (?REEBNZ). Anyone on this forum? First time I have seen a DIB in person, looks darker than what I imagined from the photos.

I think that at that time even Ford Australia didn't know what the Aus delivered car specs would be and they have just cut and paste a US spec car on their brochure. I wouldn't take that brochure to mean that we were getting the hood scoops and shark gill DRL's.

Kevr organised a group deal with Dan from Ultimate Car Detailer for Opticoat paint protection as well as wheels coating, leather and carpet treatment for $1100. There was no deal for the window tinting but I decided to have it done by Kustom Window Tinting at the same time as he shares premises...

I left my car there for 3 days but the tiintng was done the first day and the paint protection took 2 days to do.. I wasn't in any hurry that's why I left it there for an extra day (also, I couldn't pick it up earlier!). From what I could see last night when I picked it up, absolutely flawless job.

I also had my windows tinted at Kustom Window Tinting as well as Opticoat application (group deal organized by KevR) over the last couple of days. Both the tinting and the paint look fantastic. I chose the Solar Guard Ceramic Tint for $350.00. I'll put up more photos of the car when I can.

Ive taken some photos (these are actually from wife's iPhone) of the various blemishes which are on the left rear quarter, roof sides, right door, left mirror and there is even a mark on the windscreen that won't come off with cleaning. There are more than what I've shown but these are...

Is the oil that comes in the 5.0 litre engine from the factory a different specification to the the recommendations above? In other words is is it an oil geared for breaking in the engine or is it the same oil as what is used at the first service?
