Really? Interesting. I'm not much into top end. More of an autocross and daily driver car. Worst case, I rebuild the 3.15, apply lessons learned, and re-install. Either way, quieter and tighter.

Once the pinion depth and gear pattern is to your liking, back lash should be a function of moving the carrier left/right of center with shims. Towards the passenger side for less...

Changed the diff fluid and the original was ample. Didn't measure it but was ample. No "glitter" in the fluid. Replaced with a little heavier and still noisy. Applying the full Steeda kit the noise is more, of course. My real concern is the massive back lash I can feel just moving the drives...
