First car I bought was a stick shift because I wanted to drive a manual. Had to have my dad do the test driving and then I learned over that weekend how to drive one. Been driving a stick ever since except for 1 car I had for awhile just because I needed a car. Otherwise I will only buy a stick...
I don't daily my PP2 as I didn't buy the car for that reason. I have a 6 speed manual Mazda 6 for my daily and I still refuse to own an automatic. I hate them, even though they are fast, I still prefer shifting my own gears, even when stuck in stupid traffic. Clutch spring made a big difference...
Thanks. Forget to get a better picture today of the exhaust with the wheels. I'll try to remember Wednesday to get a closer picture of the rear wheel with the exhaust tips for the color comparison. I had thought about black but I wanted to have a little bit of color on the tips and I thought the...
Ya I got the full catback with active exhaust. LOVE the sound of it. Lebanon Ford did the install on the supercharger, shifter and exhaust. I didn't feel like doing the shifter myself and since they have to take some of that stuff off anyway, was just easier to have them install the exhaust...
I have them, but this is currently the best picture I have, which doesn't really show the exhaust tips very well. I currently have the car in a garage with a cover on it but if I get the chance to take a picture of it I'll try to get a better one of the rear wheel with the tips. I personally...
Does anyone know or has anyone tried to see if the PP2 wheels will fit over the GT350 brakes without modification? I was looking into different brake upgrade paths, and honestly upgrading to the GT350 brakes is almost the best deal / option than just replaing aprts / rotors / rear upgrade etc...
Maybe someone (company) can design a better heat exchanger for the Roush supercharger. I believe VMP (could be wrong on this) made an updated heat exhcanger for either the GT500 or one of the other superchargers that was a drop in but was better at exchanging heat. That might be a possibility...
I switched to the MGW x-spec and loved it. Have't had an issue yet with it. Also, the tires overall diameter is smaller than most of the tires that come on the Mustangs. Almost an inch smaller in OD, this is where part of the lowering comes from but also, this means the tires look smaller in the...
Because you are supposed to park a manual car in gear with the parking brake on. Always regardless of what terrain you are on. Parking brakes can (and have, ask me how I know) fail. Then the car being in gear is the backup.
I'll be taking a fairly long trip next year, most likely to New England area and up to Maine so I expect to put a couple thousand on it then. If not that trip then either next year or the year after I am planning my long 3ish week "outwest" trip. That trip will be around 7k miles or slightly...
Ordered my PP2 from LFP as well. Had them install the Roush kit (so it keeps warranty), MGW shifter (because I didn't feel like dealing with that), Corsa exhaust (because they already had to have the old exhaust off for the shifter), SS clutch line, and clutch spring. Anything else I will...
Waiting for stage 2 here as well. Supposedly only a couple months or less away. And supposedly still keeps the warranty. Also the 36 months /36k is car miles not once the supercharger is on. Luckily mine was put on within about 700 miles but I will most likely reach the 36 months limit before my...
Yes. First week I had the car. turn power on without clutch in so accessory turns on. Switch to Track mode. Start car, mode reverts to Normal. After I realized that the car always starts with the valve wide open (except when starting in quiet mode) I didn't mind as much, but I would rather have...
I've tried setting to track mode when starting car, it doesn't work. Defaults to normal as soon as the car starts. However, unless the car is set to start in quiet mode, the valves stay completely open when starting (at least on cold start). They may then close after a couple seconds to whatever...
I have it set for quiet mode for certain time of day, when it starts there the valve is completely closed. When not in quiet mode, it starts in normal mode. Normal mode on stat up the valve is completely open. This is standard, Normal and sport don't mean the valve is only partially open, it...
I have them, I personally like them as I think it cleans the engine bay up. But also, yes they do come with stickers, but you have to install them. So you can choose not to put the stickers on. I haven't put any of the stickers on my car that have come with any of the parts I have bought, but...
