Thanks…I was lucky to find this car with under 58k miles, matching numbers, and only a gentle refresh performed. I’m only trying to keep it in that same condition until it gets passed down to the kids and grandkids someday.
Sun has been out for a couple days and dried the roads so took the Mach and the Mrs. out to the coast yesterday. This morning was a solo run with the Boss to drive some back roads without any yelling. Life is good!
I really like the look of the PP1 spoiler plus it matches the one on my Boss 351. Do you know if that fits the same holes as the blade spoiler that came on my non HP Mach?
Welcome to, or back to the Blue Oval and the visceral experience you are sure to enjoy driving your Mach 1. This is a great group here that I have learned so much from since purchasing mine so buckle up and hang on!
Have you considered doing a powder coat in any bronze shade finish you want on the HP wheels you like so much? I did that with one of my classic cars once and was pleased with the outcome.
I’m with you @skinnyb about no black wheels and also own a FJG Mach so voting for the bronze with a possible alternative if I were to do this. On my truck, I found some wheels from Fuel that were in what they call a double dark bronze and just love the look! They get dark in low light without...
Having run a large corporation before I retired, I’d suggest a well worded note from you both to someone in the front office. I always appreciated when customers took the time to let me know about their concerns rather than just quietly disappear and buy from a competitor.
My Mach is an A10, however I learned 2 things in a Z06 Corvette that I used to drive hard. First, when accelerating out of turns treat the gas pedal like a lady…smooth at first while going towards full throttle. Second, always leave traction control on unless you’re on a track. The only time...
As I’ve told you in prior posts, I love the look of red on black and really like where you’re going with this. Have you considered moving the stripe a little further forward and sharpening up the angle a little more so it’s level where it crosses the front edge of the door seam? I admit to being...
Make sure it’s warm enough in your garage to do this and follow the directions about scraping both sides of the decal before laying it down. I was on the low end of temp the day I did mine and fought with getting the decal to properly come off the backing. Patience won the day and it turned out...
Red color on black always looks SO sharp!
Now if I could only find a windshield banner that I like with Performance spelled in orange. It’s why I put the much smaller version on mine for now. Thanks for sharing!
Installed the orange Mach 1 hood decal add on which took a minute to measure exact alignment for my old anal self and am thrilled with the result. Thanks to those who posted pics of theirs on this site which encouraged me to try this on mine as well. It’s always the little details!
Had to support an establishment where the servers wear a little orange to match with my FJG Mach. That’s what I told my co-pilot anyways! :sunglasses:
