Mine came in the mail today!! My LED strips should be coming tomorrow. I'm thinking about tying the LED's into the cigg lighter, any thoughts on whether that is a good idea or bad idea? Does the cigg lighter stay powered 24/7? Would rather tie them into the actual headunit but I'm not sure which...

Just ordered some cuttable LED light strips that I plan on placing over the current green LED's and just tying the power into the power for the radio or the cigg lighter power supply. After asking a few local repair centers, none of them were too confident about being able to swap the LED's out...

If thats the case, then that's a bit upsetting. This may be a dumb idea but I wonder if any type of blue transparent tape over the led would make it appear blueish? :headbonk:
