I'm 22 and just bought the Base GT PP. I wanted a loud ass race car for the best value and there was no doubt that was a used base Perfomance pack. Premium has a lot of cool stuff, but the thousands in my pocket is cooler.
I have an x pipe to a muffler delete, Shit absolutley screams, Its super loud, sounds like an actual race car or nascar, love it. So if you want a natural muscle sound, don't do this.
UPDATE: Ford called me with great news! The clutch is in totally good shape. The spring in the pressure plate failed and will be completely covered under warranty. Just saved a $1300 repair on a car I owned for a week. I'll be picking the car back up today once the tranny is back in
So I can get the car fixed with stock parts at an independent mechanic for ~$700 including parts and labor. Is it worth to upgrade to the mcleod? Its a significant price jump and I lose my warrenty on my otherwise stock car minus exhaust and intake
I would like to keep the factory powertrain warrenty. Would a different clutch completley void that? I would like to upgrade to something thats better than the stock unit if the price difference is negligible.
