I'd recommend buying a set of PP wheels and tires for around $1200 shipping, and since you live in Cali I'm sure you can find a local pick-up option for around $1000. Even if you fit the 265 tire on the 18x8 wheel, you will have uneven treadwear and crazy sidewall flex.
