  1. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

I get that. What does adding more air mean to you as someone who is familiar with tuning?
  2. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

Got it. I do know that when I first told the tuner about this they said sometimes it needs more "air" at startup, so that's what they did. Not sure if that means that he's opening up the tb more or what. Could that be an alternative reason its running lean an startup?
  3. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

I'm not sure, which is why I'm asking for help here. I'm not experienced with tuning, which is why I posted the log asking for someone who is to help out. I can only go based off what I have researched and what the tuner is telling me. Tuner is saying logs at WOT look perfect. I dont see...
  4. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

I have looked for a vacuum leak, but haven't been able to find anything. If I had a vacuum leak, wouldn't I lean out during WOT as well?
  5. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

I'm not experienced with tuning, so I'm not sure what I should be looking for.
  6. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

Yes. That's one of the things I tried early on. Unfortunately didn't help.
  7. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

Ah shit. Well I do use boostane, so hmmm. Did you stop using boostane and it went away? Or were your plugs fouled or something?
  8. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

That's one thing I haven't tried yet. From what I had researched, it wouldn't need to be done unless I replaced the clutch/flywheel. Also would have thought that would impact the way the car runs/drives overall vs. just during startup. Thoughts?
  9. Help with warm start issue - Whipple

Hi All, Been battling with a warm start issue since I installed the Whipple in January this year. It is most reproducible after I drive the car for about 5 minutes, park it, then start it after waiting 10 mins. The engine will start up, then drop RPM quickly to 500rpm, then flutter, then...
  10. 2018 Digital Cluster Installation Guide

Finished my install yesterday and figured I'd add to this thread. Here is another bracket mounting option for 15-17 owners that requires less drilling. Materials 1/8" aluminum bar stock from HD 3/4" self tapping screws Height of the bracket is about 1 3/16" Super easy and very solid. On...
  11. Check your new upgraded oil pump gears

Well....I think I have the same issue. A little pissed right now because it was a big job for me to install the opg and not really looking forward to doing it again. I installed my "brand x" (mmr) opg and tg January of this year and immediately after noticed the sound on this video. I assumed...
  12. 15-17 Ikon GT500 Bumper Review

Your body shop doesn't seem very smart lol. Yes the open side goes on the side of the intake (driver's side). The passenger side is blocked off.
  13. Gen 5 whipple issues on auto 15-17

Ah yeah. I actually replaced my purge valve bc I was having a weird startup issue - assumed it was a vacuum issue caused by the purge valve failure. Unfortunately, it didn't make a difference, but I do hear that they fail often. Cheap part, so worth a try.
  14. 15-17 Ikon GT500 Bumper Review

Yep. That has the warped lip and the warped center bar. That would drive me insane.
  15. 15-17 Ikon GT500 Bumper Review

I don't have a front plate because I'm in FL and we don't need them. My personal opinion is both versions are flawed. Neither is perfect, however I feel that the overall better construction goes to the Ikon/777 version. The MP/i5 version has the weak lower splitter and virtually all of the...
  16. 15-17 Ikon GT500 Bumper Review

That one is the MP Concepts/ i5 autohaus version (both the same) and it is a common problem I see on all of them (go on the i5 autohause IG page and you'll see it). It's one of the reasons I went with the Ikon.
  17. Which drop springs for blower setup?

I've got lots of your parts and BMR's and have zero hop.
  18. Which drop springs for blower setup?

Not the best, but think its more the 750whp than the springs lol. Car is set up for all around performance & handling. If I was primarily doing drag, I'd go for a lower rear rate.
