I honestly never knew that lol.
The upper folding portion of the seat is easy enough to get back to where I like it, but the forward/backward movement of the seat itself is the real pain!
Hate not having memory seats for the random times my seat gets moved to let someone sit in the back. Always a struggle to get the position back where I want it for smooth clutch action.
Allen wrench was definitely a pain. Kept slipping out of my hand and caused a nasty blister. Anything with a legit handle like a flat head as suggested would be easier.
My car took some pretty bad hail damage last year ($6k+ in damages). Basically every body panel, but the only thing that needed to be replaced was the hood. The rest was fixed with PDR. Came out of repairs looking brand new. Few pics:
I typically just let the shop keep it (if I don't do it myself). I'm sure I could have kept and sold them eventually, but never felt it was worth the headache.
Thanks for the info! Not sure about the air conditioner, but will test it. Hot day yesterday but still drove with the windows down and wasn’t paying attention to the air.
Swapped to the dedicated E85 tune yesterday but have only driven about 15 miles. Feels good but haven’t pushed it too hard.
When I loaded the tune, my nguage reset and I can’t seem to find the alch % PID anymore. I had this problem after swapping to the flex tune as well but eventually did...
No doubt I'll be sending a few logs for the tuner to review before I put too many miles on the dedicated E85 tune. Want to be sure everything looks good before cutting loose.
Definitely looking for the power to come on earlier with the dedicated E85 tune. I have noticed with the flex that it's a bit lacking down low. I plan to switch soon and hope to be happy with it.
Ahh ok, definitely understand now.
Do you mean in the instrument cluster? Mine goes below 10. Annoyingly, the air to fuel ratio PID on my nguage doesn't seem to sync up with the view in my instrument cluster. Stuck at 14.6-14.8 even though I'm running E85 and the instrument cluster is showing around 10.4-10.7 at idle.
Tuner said it may not “learn” the ethanol percentage but suggested going forward with the e85 tune. My AFR at idle is 10.8. I believe the tune is still ok to use as long as ethanol content is 70-75% or greater. Is my AFR indicative of a high enough ethanol content since the nguage doesn’t want...
Judging by the gas station I’ve used for E85 the last 2 fill-ups, I’d say it’s closer to 75% which is what worries me about swapping to the dedicated E85 race tune. To answer your question though, no I have not tested it myself - going off what the Nguage says.
Just seems to be a disconnect out...
The first time I filled up with E85 I let the car idle for 10-15 minutes with some slow revs and then drove it around for about 20 minutes until it "learned". However, with the latest fill-up (~15 gallons of E85), I didn't follow the same procedure because it was the second tank in a row of E85...
