Looked mine up and it says it is sitting at Port Kembla. My dealer emailed me last night saying it will arrive at their dealership on the week ending the 13th of January. A little frustrating now as it sits on the wharf for probably 3 weeks in Port Kembla after sitting in Baltimore for 5 weeks...
For those of us in NSW who are waiting on their Mustang the Tarago has docked in Port Kembla this morning so we are now another step closer to our Mustangs.
I am looking at the Hurst Elite Catback for mine as it has more of a muscle car note and has a little crackle when you back off. It is made by Flowmaster and while not one you hear much about it is available here from Rocket Industries.
I've heard most of them and while I thought of getting...
Wow my dealer sends updates fortnightly at the moment although I guess I know more about where it is on the day but he knows when it is released from the port. He should be able to tell you that at the least if he is worth the delivery fee they charge. He should also be able to control when your...
I think my dealer is probably the most communicative of all. I have constant feedback from him although tracking is probably where most of us can beat the dealer, they won't sit there each day hoping the tracker updates even though we know the schedule.
I met up with mine a couple of weeks ago...
I know the feeling mine was on the dock for 3 weeks and watched it's mates sail away on the Fidelio. About a week and a half pout from Port Kembla now so getting close.
I was told mine will be released from Port Kembla on the 24th of December after getting there on the 21st. With the dealer being closed I can't see myself getting it for around 3 weeks after but I expected that with Christmas. I'm getting tint and front sensors from the dealer, I've found it a...
Pretty close to mine, I ordered on the 11th of February. Don't think we will be seeing them till middle of January or after depending on what dealer fitted options you are waiting on. Dealer checked up and the release from Port Kembla is the 24th of February and no dealer will be accepting them...
I'm in the same boat, my car will arrive in Port Kembla 3 days after the event and assuming we have nothing on I would not mind meeting a few of you also. I'm on the other side of the river noboot so also a local.
Will reply when I am sure what is on.
Wait until it hits open seas you won't know where it is until it hits NZ. I know I won't have mine until mid January even though it gets in on the 21st of December or there abouts at least there is Christmas to look forward to and a short break from work.
Its getting close fellas.
I had been looking at 71 Mustangs for a couple of years so maybe bought a 71 Boss 351 or kept my RS Mk2 Focus. The new Mustang appealed to me as it is a modern car and I like a lot of the extras on them, warranty and general ease of use of a new car.
Driving from Sydney down the coast to Victoria and the Great Ocean Road then back up through Tumut and the Snowies to Sydney in March next year with the misses. Haven't done a real drive holiday since my kids were kids and we used to head up to Queensland in the car.
The Mustang should be the...
For those of us on the Tarago the boat has now left Savannah on its way to the Panama Canal. Found another site where you can track the actual boat.

Theres a low kilometer Competition Orange for sale in Car Sales for $130,000.00. :eyebulge:Appears standard and the owner is putting out a speculator on someone who must have a rare colour.
Just looked on a Global Vessel Tracking site and 6 and a half hours ago it was East of Columbia on it's way down the coast towards Savannah. Interesting live map of shipping around the globe, I've never bothered looking this kind of thing up before...
