All I know is Kenne Bell has the actual testing and flow data right there on their site for everyone to see. Whipple has claims but no data to back it up from the time I’ve spent on their site. At the end of the day however you are 100% right. Both are good choices for different reasons.

Definitely a lot of Whipples. Just wish the debate would end on which is “better.” Too many opinions, not enough facts. At the end of the day you can’t go wrong either way. Both will make you smile and both will easily blow up our motors. What more could we ask for?

Mammoth kits have a slightly bigger TB actually at 168mm. And we’d have to know the size of the housing inlet at the rotors to know if there is actually a significant restriction. Restrictions downstream of the unit are what cause problems because you only flow as much as your smallest component.

They provide them but some people have elected to not use them. Centri SCs need high RPM to build boost, twin screws are already cranking right off idle. Look at a torque curve from a centri vs twin screw. The twin will ramp up almost instantly and remain there throughout the RPM.
