  1. Ceramic coating and orange peel

ceramic coated my car and it didn't change the texture at all. It's probably just making the orange peel more noticeable due to the enhanced gloss and reflections from the polishing done prior to ceramic coating.
  2. "Mild" cat-back exhaust recommendations needed

none of those, Solo Mach XV. Cheaper and better sounding than magnaflow's listed IMO. And Borla would never get a cent of my money out of principle seeing the terrible build quality of their header on the 86 platform.
  3. Looking for a 93 Octane Tune

i'd go AED. I've tried others and AED always had the best seat of the pants feel as well as numbers to back it up. I tried PBD on my 17 and wasn't super impressed. Going back to AED in a week or two when i get my 18 IM on.
  4. S550 Notch/coupe

Never been a fan of the coupe/notch. Always vastly preferred the fastback profile. It would be a hard pass from me if that was similar to what it would look like.

just a heads up, saw you have stainless works and lund in your sig. Lund will turn your rear O2's off by default unless you ask them not to, which will also cause you to not pass readiness checks on your rear O2's. I'd ask them to update that if you haven't already.
  6. Guess what? Motortrend favors the Camaro again

in all fairness, my mustang has that problem too at some intersections, and i'm not even up to the line. A few times a week i'm having to duck to see the green.
  7. New old Boss 429 coming

i really wish ford would make another boss with the s550's fastback profile. '19-'20 are the 50th of those, so it would have been nice to see one. Keeping my hopes up for a 2020 boss. I highly doubt it will happen, but I've always wanted a school bus yellow boss with the hockey stripes.
  8. Lightning Blue 5.0 Project

took some pics finally of the hyper silver 6gr's mounted on the car. I'm pretty happy with the overall look.
  9. Spotted! 2019? Shelby Super Snake!

wow, i've never really liked RC, always thought i made it look a little too "grandpa car" but with the silver stripes/ chrome wheels it looks sexy AF. wow!
  10. Happy Birthday Mustang!!

Lmao, that's an awesome commercial. Too bad we don't get ones like that in the US (that I've seen)

I'm going with AED as he said he tunes for the 18 with both lockouts and IMRCs active. I currently have a PBD tune and haven't been too impressed with it so going back to AED which has always been awesome in the past for me.
  12. 17 S550 next steps...

did you have to do anything crazy to keep the O2's from tripping like spacers or whatnot? That's really awesome they're not tripping.
  13. 17 S550 next steps...

I'd do longtubes. Wait and see where the 18 IM lands for people performance wise and see if you'd like to do that vs gt350. for suspension i've had both BMR and Steeda's IRS kits and prefer steeda by far. No NVH and less hop. I had noticeable harshness comparatively with the bmr kit.
  14. LIGHTNING BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

    Thanks, it's the steeda spoiler.
  15. LIGHTNING BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

i prefer silver myself on LB. Crappy pic, and the car sits funny because of the angle of my driveway, but here's mine on silver 6gr's.
  16. MPSS vs MPS4 vs Continental ECSport

I've had PSS and now Conti extreme contact sports. I can't tell a difference in dry grip on them. It rained this morning and they gripped like glue I was very impressed. I'm happy with them. Grassroots Motorsports did a test on the Conti ECS vs PSS and PS4s. The PSS and ECS were basically dead...

In all fairness though the Dyno EODTech posted was the only one I've seen like that. 3 people local to me on a Dyno I'm familiar with didn't have any real losses but picked up 15-20 whp from 5k on. I'm hoping his was tune related and they sort that out for him. I'd be ok with 5-10tq loss down...

  19. Steeda Ultralite Linear without rear spacers

Yes sir, 25mm wheel spacers but 1/4" spring spacer on the rear springs.

i believe you'd still need to splice / adapt the blue plugs as well if you're running the IMRC PnP harness. other than soldering them together, i'm holding out for a pnp solution to that too, or re-pinning them.
