thanks for the reply guys. yea, i am not wanting to come close to even 1,000 bucks for what i want to capture. maybe i'll just go with a garmin or gopro, racerender software, and an external mic that i can put inside the car.

clearance will also depend on the distance from the front wheels to the front of the splitter. obviously a shorter distance from the wheels to the front of the car will get you a little more clearance when you are transitioning from flat to a steep driveway/street.

i would consider a 997 GT3, Zo6 or grand sport, or a GT4. the GT3's are still expensive to get into and maintain, my wife would not want me to have a vette, and the GT4 is out of my price range. plus none of them have back seats. which is why i was looking at an M2, but after being in line...

EXACT same story as me. was on the wait list for an M2 when i was like, the shelby is so much more car for the money. and i'm keeping my E46 M3, will never part with it.

i bet it is, but at 2,000 dollars for 4 sessions in it the value just isn't there for me. i could do 3 complete race weekends on my motorcycle, including new tires for each weekend for that price.
