I want an autocrosser primarily, but something that will still hold its own once in a while on the drag strip. I'm not into drag racing as it just seems so expensive with staggered drag radials and the maintenance associated with dropping clutches/poweshifting and constantly pushing redline...
A few questions if you'd all be so kind:
I see threads with install instructions all the time, but how are these guys picking which IM to go with? The three I'm looking at of course would be Boss 302, Cobra Jet, and GT350. Is the difference between Boss 302 and GT350 noticeable enough to...

The difference is spectacular. I'm taking...
Wow, what an interesting analysis. I thought swapping to an MGW shifter fixed it for me, maybe it was the Steeda IRS subframe brushings that did it. Either way, this (and a good majority of my wheel hop) is gone now!
Self install is a bitch fyi. There is a bolt JUST above the tranny that is horrible coming out and worse going back in. Had to use a 10mm ratcheting box wrench and a buddy pulling down on the drive shaft just to get to it. Had to find a micro 10mm wrench to tighten it back in later, as the...
