The hill in the pic is flat compared to the hill you can't see getting up here haha. An 18 degree grade! When I head off to work soon I'll be giving it a try!
And when it's 75 here and 100+ there, is the reason I love my Smokies! :D This is so unusual for us. I can't think of a time I've ever seen snow here at Halloween. At worst it's rainy and 50. But, my thermometer showed 24 at 2AM.
Picture thread! I do miss seeing the green, but this S550 is a...
We need to email this to Ford. I feel like there's some goofy kid in glasses in the graphic design office going "that's what I've been trying to tell them!"
Neither can we! Just hope it's not like today...
I love Wilmington, fun city. Used to go there once a month. :)
Anyone here in Charlotte? I've got a business trip the week after next and would enjoy getting together for some brews!
I'm game for Anything. Sunday is always the best day for me for something casual. I've had my GT for 48 hours now, holy cow!
So how many of us have our GTs, or will have them by next Sunday?
Which side of the state are you on Crimbring?
Roberto, I had the pleasure of being the first owner of a S550 west of Asheville! It's an awesome title to have, enjoy being the first out of your dealership. :)
This works great! Last night I was playing with the numbers to get some different yellows. I'll see what I settle on. But, an awesome place to start!
Day three of ownership: I still reach for keys in an ignition switch. I also haven't quite gotten the hang of the lock and unlock using the door...
1) In my eyes, a convertible has two seats only. Unless it's an old 50's or 60's model tank of a car that has big bench seats and seating for 6. Sports cars are great for convertibles. Muscle/Pony cars, not so much.
2) I LOVE the fastback slope. It's gorgeous. The convertible top takes away...
I've made that drive... Once. In a sedan haha. Gotta be way more fun in the GT/PP!
I'm so ready for my weekend you have no idea! She and I have some miles to cover. As always, thanks again for being so awesome Rachel! Your boss is very lucky to have you, and so is this forum!
svtenthusiast, I've not had a spare second to look in to this. I like it for me. But with passengers that's a no go. Gotta figure this out haha.
PoPo, thanks for the quote! I'm in almost the exact same boat. When I get some time to myself I'll catch up on that thread. I wonder what the tunes...
Don't know how I missed this. Thank you! That V6, called Little Green, was a fun build. Just enough to really enjoy driving her, stand out from the crowd, and get up and go when you need it.
PoPo, hopefully we can! The prediction of snow here in the Pisgah Forest is not exactly what I want...
Anthony,
I'm going to start with Flowmaster Outlaws. As time goes on and the aftermarket grows I'll move to a long tube/x pipe/cat back setup. For now, I just need her to roar. :)
Thanks Joe! I'll give this a try. High School Art taught me you can't use secondary colors to create a primary one hahaha.
Reflecting on last night's drive to Asheville, this car laughs at corners. It's amazing. You can't begin to compare this to the S197. I definitely need to sign up for...
