My alcantara pieces matched up almost perfectly with the stock vinyl. Some of the issue, I believe, is that the alcantara does not 'give' and thus needs to be placed carefully to ensure the parking lever can move freely through its range of motion. I had to reposition the back portion of the...
Nothing to add to DB83s post but I did purchase and install the Redline alcantara shift and parking lever boot. They look very good. Be careful on the install, though, there isn't much 'extra' material to work with.
OK - I'm confused. I have a 2017 gt350 and the owner.ford website is saying that my SYNC is up to date and "the last confirmed install of an update to your vehicle was on: October 18, 2017."
The site displays:
Date Confirmed: Aug 9, 2016 Version: SYNC3 v2.0 HB5T-14G381-AJ

Thanks but this is more than I am willing to do. I'd just like to pop in a new set of rears to even out the front/back sound. Will the recommended Infinity's accomplish that?
Does upgrading the rear 'parcel shelf' speakers lead to a fuller sound? I like to bias my stereo to the rear and it is apparent that the rear lacks the range of the front. I'd like to drop in a set of the Infinity's recommended upthread and leave the rest of the stereo alone.
Has anyone wrapped (or replaced) the yellow circled parts with Alacantara? I just picked up a Mustang and feel that these hard, scratchy plastic parts are a bit of a let down.

How long ago did you order? Did you order stock fitment or spec something else? Did you express your concerns to redline (if so, did they offer a fix)?
Thanks!
