One bolt on the original splitter installed during PDI was the wrong length and was protruding. Not all the way through, but not acceptable. It’s being warranted and has been ordered. It’s back ordered until early December.

Dealer just called... The transmission came off back order and has shipped. If everything goes well, I’ll get to take her home Friday. My car is also now flagged for the break recall. Parts are being ordered priority since the car is in for service. Dealer expects to fix the breaks once...

Ok guys, I got great news to report today. The service manager called me and said they are going to do a complete transmission swap. They are replacing the transmission in part because of “the lack of parts availability, including the housing” and because of “the potential of unknown...

That’s what both me and the dealer and pushing Ford to do.

Dealer has submitted the problem to Ford and hopes to get a response tomorrow. Still in the holding pattern for now.

Mine still shows no recalls.

My driver’s side latch was starting to stick. Will lube up the pins when I get her back. Great info, thanks again Tom.

Unfortunately, not yet. However, the dealer is ordering my break pedal assembly. It will be warranty if it makes the recall list before installation or will refund me after.

That sucks your still fighting this battle. Mine never showed any signs of leaking. Just launched the bolt off while driving.

KB: It’s very nice for the money. It’s air ride and will dump the air to lower the trailer. It tilts, has a winch and hydraulic lift jack. Originally I wanted an enclosed trailer, but for the money this was a fantastic deal. More importantly, I was able to pick it up off a lot with no waiting.

The driver of my wrecker was actually quite good. He was patient and let us take our time blocking up the car. He didn’t have enough boards, but when my brother arrived, he had a saw. So, we were able to make what we had work. These cars are just so low, everything has to be absolutely perfect...
