Thx..This is what I had in mind. Funny thing is, I tested a few hours later..does not smell like gas that much..although I did not move the car for 3 days. Anyways..I'll keep an eye on it.

One question related to the oil.. If you take the dipstick and test it.. and smell it...I am not 100% sure but if you ask me the oil smells very little like gasoline...

you mean the rattle originally occured just between let's say 2200 -3000 RPM and now additionally above 3000 RPM after a few weeks/months ?

Thank you man, appreciate that. That all fits together, as otherwise it would be a real disaster for Ford. I still think that in bigriver's case the damage in the cylinders has another root cause, as far as I remember his car had a few 100 miles on when he got it from a dealer. (?) Who knows...

The AT had 2400 km on it... I noticed mine with about 600km - I am sure it sounded earlier like that but I used to drive with Windows down and track mode on the exhaust

Hi, to me that sounds very interesing. How do you do the data-logging ? the coyote gen 3 now has 4 knock sesnsors, the gen 2 just has 2.

does anyone have another video of the 2200 RPM rattle while driving ?

sounds ok to me and differnt to our upload videos while driving. tested again today...it is louder when its cold...and somehow the range of the ratlle shifts from 2200 to 2900 when warm.
