I think they had little choice but to show something. With sales of the 14 going down the tubes, they must realize many will be put off by the 15 styling and buy a 14. If they wait for 14 production to stop and everyone hates the 15, Ford would loose on both ends.

It looks good but not great. I like the 14 look better.

The smaller size of the 15 is what made me decide on the 14. BTW, I saw on Yahoo that the 14 GT500 is likely to be a future collectable.

I don't even have the car yet, but I already bought Roush axle back exhaust, shorty antenna, MMR tail light trim. Roush chin spoiler and side splitters and Roush hood struts.

That would be about $ 4,400 as My 14 is equipped. I saw another article on Facebook stating similar measurements for the 15 as the article here.

This is what I kind of think could happen at the end of the normal production run and these would fill the gap until regular 15 production begins. Even if they don't make much money, the attention will more than make up for it down the road.

Seeing as there is a delay to next May for production, if the order banks close Sept/Oct, I'm guessing they expect a big slowdown in sales or they are building up a large volume of cars to cover that long time frame?

I'm thinking it's going to be based more on the 14. If the 15 won't be ready for production until at least next may, will they really wait that long for an anniversary model?

Wouldn't this be something like one thousand sequential VIN numbers with a code number that differs from regular production? The different code would call them out as a 14.5.
