    that is def what i will end up doing if this doesn't work, I just don't want to cut the intake tube if I could avoid it and I wanted to test if it is possible to simply switch the TB w/o having to modify the oem intake set up. I will keep you apprised of any issues that surface.

    I couldn't figure out how to load a pic but what i can do is try to make a video and upload to youtube. As far as how well it seals, all i can say is i couldn't feel or hear any leaks and it drives fine, no issues so far. installed it friday and drove it about 150 miles so with this set up.

    3.5'' coupler over the GT TB and Intake hose. I didn't need to cut the original intake tube to make it fit.

    right on! let us know how it turns out.. Question, how is the velossa Tech ram air treating you? I was planning to go this route but unsure how it effects the engine when its raining. have you had any issues? Does water get in the airbox?

    i'd say so, car seems to have a bit better throttle response and mid to high rpm range feels to pull a lil harder; I running stock tune just to see how the car behaves with the GT TB vs. the 3.7, gunna run it for another 100 miles or so before i load up the MPT tune.

    installed 14 gt TB using spacer and the stock intake tube works just fine. thought i would post the update since their seems to be some interest in keeping the stock look with all the pvc hook ups. I can't figure out how to upload pic.

    installed the Tstat with the tune, car feels amazing. Temp is steady around 178-185* only thing is when I turn on the heater it blows cold air. is this normal? or did i ef something up? other than the heater issue, I'm super happy with how the car is performing.
