Yea I think that's what's happening. After a short drive it stops happening. Only happens when after it's been sitting. And no stone driveway just a regular concrete driveway. I think I just need to get new tires for daily driving.
Just recently picked up a PP2 Mustang last week and I currently have 250 miles on it. I hear a popping noise when I turn the wheel full lock while backing up. It sometimes happens when I'm going forward as well. Only does it during cold starts. I think it might be the tires just being cold...
Thank you! I'm used to the attention by now since this is my 3rd s550 lol. Had ford buy back my white 18 due to transmission issues with the A10. I'm happy to be back in a manual.
This is my 18 before they bought it back.

Was having this issue a couple of months ago. Ended up getting a new transmission out of it.
Another thread with more people having this issue is located here along with some documents from Ford on what the problem was...

Yeah that's the only downside to being lowered and having a splitter. Thankfully it doesn't happen everywhere.
Just recently installed the Scott Drake front splitter from LMR. It's slightly bigger than the PP2 and definitely gives it a more agressive look. It's secured by 3M tape and bolts as well. I've taken it multiple times over 100 and it's been holding up well. I'm going to add some splitter...
Thankfully they didnt switch up the hardware. I'm really glad it worked out as well and thanks for all the help! Only hitch we ran into was that the 2018 mustang trunk was missing a couple of holes that the decklid tab goes into. He just ended up cutting those tabs off his decklid lol.
I...
