With the advancements in the spray technology, I'm hearing and seeing more of this process these days. They offer pearls and metallics also.

I see they have DIY kits, but I've seen shops that spray this coating professionally. Worth looking into?
I use the Sonax https://tinyurl.com/hc7f6zc with an orange pad and get wonderful results on my wife's black Tundra. Zero halos/swirls after I'm done. Sonax has tremendous working time, and finishes off great compared to the Meguiar's M105 - no dusting.
You think he actually took the time to read it? My money is on him not even taking the time to fill the filter prior to screwing it on and torquing it down. The thought of a "dry startup" makes my skin crawl.
I had them check fluids, remove the suspension spacers, and as mentioned, take it out of "transport mode" and pull it up front for pick up. I handled the unwrapping, splitter install, paint decontamination/detail. Took me two days - ha!
