Love my ARH, too. Doesn't have the pub of some others, prob because it's a little quieter, but the tone is perfect. Actually liked mine better after removing the sound tube. Slightly less noise but all rear muffler goodness.
I think the videos represent it ok, it's just that it's a touch quieter than some of the other popular options. As mentioned earlier in the thread, volume wise it's probably 3 out of 5 with some others being a 4.
Any of them will be a glorious departure from stock.
Most will recommend what they have for obvious reasons. I have the ARH & I love it, but you won't win any rev off contests with it. It is deep, smooth and never raspy imho. Perfect sound for DD which is why I got it. It doesn't get loud, though, stays about the same from 3500 up I'd say...
The radio is quiet, but loud enough. My problem with it is the EQ/sound. Can't find a way to get any punch or drive from it; it just sounds thin with no bottom end to it. I listen primarily to hard rock & my EQ is full bass, mid & treble 1-2 notches above halfway.
I had this same debate, decided on a non PP, then changed my mind & went PP. Pretty much for the same reasons you stated, that as a DD the 3.73's were a bit short. Not having a spare also bugs me a little. In the end I loved the feel of the chassis & brakes enough that I just rolled with it...
Now that I have my car I'm itching to order an exhaust. Torn between this & borla s-type. Love how deep & throaty this sounds! Thanks to everyone postings vids/sound clips!
Picked mine up tonight. Everything looked good except the hood is just a fraction off (diff sized gap across the front) but not enough to bother me. So glad the wait is finally over.
So I got the call today that my car came in. Should I just pick it up tomorrow or wait until Wed & see if the rebate goes up? They usually don't go down, do they?
Hello,
After researching and waiting for over a year I finally placed my order today for a 2015 CO Mustang GT Premium. I've been lurking on this site the whole time gathering information and it's been extremely helpful. I'm 39 and this will be my first Mustang. Can't wait to share in the fun...
