Anyone know what happens when you have your demon eyes on with your HID head lights? Not the halos, just the projector LEDs. I'm guessing the HID's drown them out?
I'm doing red demon eyes and I'd like them on when the car is on, but perhaps go out when the headlights come on...
I see where Niche offers several wheels in silver/machined face. Is it possible to get them in matte or satin black with a machined face? Or order the silver/machined and have the silver powder coated?
Surface finish looks rough and the edges of the mating surfaces aren't chamfered. Functionally they're probably fine though, as long as the surface isn't rough enough to damage the pump housing.
As far as noise, there could be a tolerance stacking issue. Tight gear clearance and a...
Don't know. I stepped out around page 150, hadn't seen anything I really liked. Skipped to the end and went backwards until I saw that pic. Wasn't expecting to find anything...
I'm not sure, but I would imagine that's correct. I would guess there are only a couple of amps in general, each with minor changes based on the audio package.
I do get a very small signal when I enable the output, but it's not enough to run the sub. It does register on an RTA and...
I was about to go out and stick an angle gauge on mine, but BMR beat me to it. Those angles are ridiculous if they are consistent with all models. Probably varies between engines/transmissions though. A one-piece shaft wouldn't even help in most cases. And shimming the rear sub-frame would...
nGauge is the fastest programmer at loading a tune by far. It can also be mounted in an A/C vent and used to monitor almost any PID that is in the ECM. There are also multiple screens you can set up and scroll through. I have one screen for critical engine PIDs and another for general...
I'm not reading 130 pages, but I too have a slight vibration at exactly 70mph sometimes. When it starts vibrating, I let off the accelerator for a few seconds and coast, then get back into the throttle. The vibration will go from say a 4/10 to a 2/10. If I stop altogether, the vibration goes...
Maybe a bad synchronizer. It's not an uncommon issue on the MT-82. Could have damaged 2nd gear or bent a shift fork as well. Won't know without removing it.
Edit: BTW, all manual transmissions benefit from positive stops on the gear shifter. This is the first thing I upgrade. It's really...
So, I went to leave for work today and my battery was dead. I parked the car Friday and it sat all weekend. Apparently something is draining it. So, I jumped the car and left for work. The weird thing is, the Fuel Low warning came on and said I only had 8 miles of fuel left. Which was odd...
On another note, I can verify that if you change
783-01-01 0000 8C to
783-01-01 1000 9C
it will enable the subwoofer turn-on in the factory DSP (Amplifier). It does not however enable the subwoofer low-level outputs(I'm still working on this...).
You will need to add a 20-22ga...
According to Ford, both mics contribute to Active Noise Control. Also, if you pay the $22 to access Ford Service, they list them both under the Active Noise Control section. It's a shame the front mic is also the input for voice commands and hands free.
