Yes, you are completely removing the performance tune and loading the stock tune back. It could be used on another car if you were to sell it, well manual=manual auto=auto and same modifications(stock)

I just did this the other day. Had to have dealer reset ecu because of a hydroplaning accident with a curb and side airbags deployment. It took about 25 minutes combined to uninstall and then reinstall. Just cover your ass and uninstall it.

So my car had to have the side curtain air bags replaced. The body shop has told me it's going to the Ford dealer to have the "circuit" reset. My question is, would resetting the airbags via the pcm/ecu, whatever terminology you use, interfere with the Cobb tune? Should I go to the shop and...

if someone hops in they're gone, but as soon as they shut it down it's not restarting. So if it's a real thief I'm sure they know what's up. If it's a joyrider, where ever he shuts it down is probably where it will be recovered.
