I hear you, we had the MPH to run well into the 8's...but couldn't get the track to hold the power in cold winter weather and our 1/8 mile suffered.

Yes, but when you factor that a supercharged upgrade will most likely involve aftermarket headers, driving up the total installation cost....you're probably in the range of turbocharger kit cost.
And if you're spending money, you might as well buy what delivers proven results on the drag strip...

The Watson car is using a 2015 chassis, but has extensive mods everywhere else. (Using TH400 Transmission, Standalone ECU, Aftermarket IRS, etc)
Not really in the same class as everyone else, lol.
