Well both of my kids are old enough for boosters so I'll just use what I have now. Easy enough to switch over. But if I had to buy one to stay in the car...not sure how you can't buy a Recaro kids seat! I'd get one of the protective pads too, just to protect the seat

In production for the 2016's? That would mean you have a VIN already then? Sorry, I'm just confused ....I would start to assume the 2015's will be delivered by Sep 2015. I expected the first 2016's to start coming out around October/November...

bp- You should have a confirmed DORA within 24 hrs of them placing the order in the system. I would ask the dealership. As for builds, kind of up in the air....but what I have heard is that once you are notfied of a VIN, its usually about 2 weeks until its built. Then the shipping...

I would ask for the DORA, that would show your name as well as your order being accepted. There is no reason they couldn't provide it to you.

I'll take a shot at answering some of your questions as best I know them. - The dealership needed to pay an allocation fee to be eligible. Total allocations are based on previous mustang sales, markets, etc. The regional rep lets the dealerships know how many allocations for each MY they are...

As for the splitter and spoiler, I know the Z06's have them packaged and placed inside the cars for transport to dealers and they are installed there. Perhaps this is the same to protect them from damage?

What are the black blocks on the front bumpers? Pre-installed license plate brackets?

Is there any other "lessons learned" we can add to this. I plan on sending my dealer a list for when I know the vehicle comes in. Some things I was thinking: - Dont drill for front plate bracket - leave vehicle covering on, don't need it to go back and get washed and scratched - don't place...

Are you sure? That one has a tower brace, I thought that was only in track pack? BTW, love the color combo! I was originally going to go classic white w/blue....but I think I might have to order the twin of yours!

So in my recent dealing with 350's listed on cars.com -- if its a 2015 or for the most part if it's listed with out a price, then the car is not available. Called on an OW 2015 out of Michigan, dealer told me that the cars on there come straight from inventory orders, they dont control that...
