I copied a bunch of FLAC flies to a 1TB thumb drive and it sounds great! My only issue is that now when the car is in motion, I can only access the first few files. Some kind of "safety" feature. I wonder if there is some kind of workaround.

My stock battery is doing fine, so it's kind of difficult to spring for a new battery now. Got other things to upgrade first.
Yeah, I'm nowhere near an audiofile. But once you start changing out speakers with different specs (frequency response, impedance, power handling/RMS, sensitivity, etc) you quickly hit the limits of what stock can do (just like any system/part of a stock vehicle).
