What the hell, I've decided to go with the Convertible. I don't want buyer's remorse, and it's got everything I need and wanted. Being Convertible is a bonus.
I also have the choice to change the color if I'd like.
Yeah I don't want no remorse. This is what happens when I have different choices. I'm honestly torn.
Here's a very important question. How fun is a convertible? Never had one before. Will the top be down regularly, and will I look like a douchebag driving a convertible? :giggle:
Exclusivity...
A Convertible is definitely appealing. Although, I'd say I love the look of the Fastback just a little more. Roads are ok here, and I never been to the track before - Would love to, and I'm sure it's a ton of fun but just never had the chance when I was living in Dubai. It's the price increase...
I just spoke with the dealer. Itās a total of A$15,000 more! 𤯠for the MagneRide and Convertible, as compared to the Fastback with no MagneRide.
I didnāt plan on spending that much. Itās gone into the Mach1 territory now.
Iām finding it hard to justify to be honest.
@Bikeman315 what do you...
The dealer just confirmed. MagneRide CAN still be added to the order.
Bloody hell, Iām so confused! Oxford White Convertible vs Cyber Orange Fastback. Except the vert is pretty much fully loaded.
Move to Australia and you'll know the true meaning of misery LOL! Build & Price? Never heard that one before. We don't even get sequential tail lights for crying out loud.
Happy Birthday to your beautiful Mustang. I wish I still had my 50th Anniversary GT, and more importantly, I wish I drove it much much more. To many more years!
I do understand it's an Appearance Package. After all, my previous Mustang was with the 50th Anniversary Appearance Package :)
As @Bikeman315 said, it may not be a Mach 1 or such, but no doubt IT IS a very special version of an already special vehicle.
Looks great! 100% agree with the...
Honestly, your words are very wise. It does help a lot with my decision making, so I appreciate that.
Grabber Blue, Cyber Orange and Shadow Black are all in production. ETA - June/July
And here's another one I was able to track down just this morning. Oxford White. And wait for it. IT'S A...
One of the local dealers called me with a canceled order. GT/CS in Shadow Black š
A week ago, I couldnāt find 1 and I was going to settle for a GT. Now I have the choice between 3. None with the MagneRide though ā¹ļø
Man, you have the inside scoop on a lot, if I didnāt know any better Iād think you work with Ford LOL.
You are 100% correct. Those are exports, and thatās a lot of M1s.
Just a very brief update. Due to my perseverance and stubbornness, I was able to locate another California Special, Cyber Orange, at a local dealer 2 hours away.
I'm spoiled for choice right now. Grabber Blue or Cyber Orange? Will have to find out in June when I have it in my garage. Needless...
Yeah, as much as I would have liked to have the MagneRide, itās not an option, itās not coming to Australia on the California Specials.
I have no issue with driving 14 hours straight, but not only do I not wanna do that to a brand new car, itās gunna be a much bigger and much more expensive...
RHS market here. It will never be worth it to convert a car that was meant for a different region. That of course in addition to the different compliance regulations in Australia.
Those are some of the colors that I am happy with, would have considered and available to order.
You are right...
I'm quite certain, yes, and I'm happy with this decision. Although I won't be getting the MagneRide that I initially wanted, I'm not sad about it. Only 400 California Specials are to ever land in Australia, and I feel quite accomplished to be able to snatch one, let alone Grabber Blue! Exciting...
Well, itās an American vehicle, so I think gas is appropriate LOL.
Thanks for the info. Yeah, from what Iāve gathered Ford are using CEVA. Iām mainly concerned about hailstorms. I guess I just shouldnāt stress too much about it and be optimistic.
I know, right? Iām literally my worst enemy. I thought, might as well exhaust all my options and call a few more dealers, it wonāt hurt. Oh it did. By giving me options. 3 completely different ones.
Yes, all the dealers offer refundable deposits. Ironically enough, I have only put down a...
