I'm planning to participate with my club at the upcoming IRRA roll race event in June. I have no idea what i'll trap but i'm interested in what, if anything, they'll say.
Probably. Just got to think about this hard. I like this in theory, but now it's not just the hood, but then I need to relocate the washers, I need hood pins, I need to stop using my hood struts, and the finish apparently is not a 10/10. I mean, I want this. But I have to consider it and see...
Thanks for the detailed info and pictures.
Do you think it is actually possible to use the windshield wiper fluid with this hood? Is the window glass or plexiglass?
I was actually aware of that and I understand that from the pictures. My question was not answered though - is it the same price for someone with the subwoofer as it is for someone without the subwoofer, considering that one uses more material than the other? Is the cost of with and without...
Definitely something I will be getting in the future. Is it the same price for cars with the factory sub? Seems like a bit less material would be needed but website seems to only show the one price.
We've talked about this. I don't doubt that Ford considered Grabber Blue their premiere color for 2017. My GT Convertible (401A with all options) was also bought by and shipped to Ford's HQ. Mine was also listed as a Company Lease fleet car. The difference is mine is a "normal" GT while yours is...
Removing the heat shield or whatever you want to call it is a matter of pulling a bunch of plastic push clips holding it in place. Super easy. I doubt you can paint it. It's a very mush material. What I think you've seen is people who have a custom panel cut and then that is painted. But I would...
No idea what this guy is doing. It sucks because I really wanted the mirror covers and steering wheel bezels, and if the products were good quality I planned to buy other things. I don't know of any other place that sells good CF trim pieces reliably.
How have I been here so long and I haven't seen a 32-page thread dedicated to Grabber Blue mustangs? Oh my. Here are a few of my GT. As you can see, things change a lot from pic to pic. There is not a single pic here that reflects the car as of today, since I removed a bunch of stuff in...
Looks great!
No hood pins? I thought it was somewhat a requirement or the hood might lift up? Are you using hood struts or the regular metal stick to hold up the hood? I've heard that CF hoods shouldn't be used with hood struts. Can you share a pic with the hood up? I'd love to see the...
Yours is Premium, all GT and EB convertibles were Premium trims. And all California Special cars were GT Premiums.
But there are two kinds of Premium, there is the 200A/201A packages on EcoBoosts and 400A/401A packages on GTs. I think you have the 400A package. I have the 401A package + Adaptive...
No, that's not what it says. My report says 506 GB GT convertibles. 60 in my paint/trim combinations. I have 401A package with ACC and BLIS (i.e. fully loaded car with all options, $50K sticker price). That's what I believe the 60 number is.
Again, this entire thread is my interpretation of the...
I think you're misreading the numbers (granted, I could be too). There's 506 Grabber Blue GT convertibles. According to your report and my interpretation of it, there's 83 of those that were made in CS trim. That means the other 423 GB GT convertibles that are not CS.
As far as CS cars in total...
I have been getting the number from the "with these paint/trim codes" line. Initially I thought that meant Grabber Blue / 401A for example - but that didn't make sense after I started going over so many reports. By now I'm fairly convinced that's what it is. I made the leap after realizing that...
