Holding up great. After many heat cycles they look just as bad as the high dollar headers. I'd pass on the polished look next time.
A few pieces of hardware is justifiable in the cost savings. It comes with clamps, just not the ones I like to use. I added the pipe so I didn't have to use...
If todays shops are getting $5-700.00 for front brake jobs these days. I'd say that cost is in line. Almost every quote you get these days is roughly 1000.00 for any major work. If you are paying anyone to do anything, consider that you'll have to pay a premium when getting the work done. Plus...
I purchased the Maximizer/OBD headers two years ago when they were on special for around 420.00 shipped with resonators instead of cats. I inspected them thoroughly as I have tig welded for years when I had my x275 car. The welds were great. Just as any American who welds for a living, their...
I have the Sniper. Fit nice, looks good. I only put down 418 on e85 (Lund) with an auto. I wasn't trying for a max effort NA deal, since I'll have a procharger at some point. I'm going to dyno Lund and PBD tunes back to back soon to see who has it figured out better.
Yes, that will remove the majority of it. It worked with both Lund and PBD tunes I have.
The Lund e85 only tune has it removed, the flex still has a bit. PBD has it fixed on the flex, but says don't get crazy with the 93 octane, run e85 mostly if you plan on "driving" the car. 93 can be used...
If you had an automatic, you'd understand. The car lurches under light throttle when accelerating from a stop. When the car was stock it did it, once tuned with more aggressive timing in the lower rpms, it went away.
Have your tuner add some timing in the low rpms. It will take a lot of the bounce away during the throttle tip in. I had both PBD and Lund do that, and the car accelerates and responds a lot better at the low rpms.
Mods is my sig. I was at 416 rwhp on e85. I doubt you are close to 410 with your current set up. I plan an redynoing with a PBD tune in the next few months to see the difference.
I need a nice big rainstorm before I take mine off the lift and put in on the asphalt. It's ready to go, I just need to find some 19x10's for a decent price.
The startling line ratio ( slr) with the auto and 3.55's is 14.80. If you had a normal 3 spd( th400) with 5.13 gears the slr would be 12.72. Just shows you how aggressive these cars are off the line
Even the 3.15's are more aggressive than 5.13 gears with an slr of 13.14.
