Running Steeda Ultralite Linears on FRPP dampers. After alignment, all good except front camber. Its still in spec, but looks a little too 'stance' for me. Ordered BMR FC003 camber bolts to fix that issue.
It rivals all the BMWs I've driven. For me, its not quite as good as a recent 911 but my wheels are 8.5" wide 19's and stock sways and thats hampering it. For track specific comparisons (GT3, GT350R, etc..), from what I understand, you'll need JRZs or something equivalent.
I just installed this setup and my initial thoughts are that this is a great setup. Ride quality has not suffered much, floating is gone, rear movement is limited. I'm completely satisfied so far. I need to get the bushings clocked and get a four wheel alignment (BMR CB005 install at the same...
Hadn't heard this before. Guess it won't hurt to wait a few days. I noticed I have some 'stance' happening after the install. OCD will be tweaking until the alignment is done. :D
So I finished up the FRPP Dampers kit with Steeda Ultralite linear springs install and put on the BRM CB005 kit while I was at it. Also put on the rear ZL1 splash guards while the wheels were off. All pretty standard stuff.
No pics since its 0200 in the morning, and it needs a good wash, but...
No squeaks or rattles as of yet. Hopefully that wont change with the Steeda and FRPP shocks/dampers, or the BMR cradle parts. Agree with jasonstang on possibly some sound deadening in the trunk though. Not sure which direction to go with that. Lizard skin or some other spray-in deadener? Or some...
